A complete crushing and refining line delivered to an Egyptian edible oil company targeting the local retail and HORECA segment with non-GMO refined soybean oil.
The client is one of Egypt's mid-sized edible oil packers. With domestic soybean supply limited, the line was designed to flexibly process both Egyptian and Russian-origin soybeans without major cleaning/flaking adjustments.
The crushing section is a 200 TPD solvent extraction line: cleaning → dehulling → flaking → cooking → extracting → DTDC → meal grinding. The meal is sold as 46% protein animal feed to Egyptian poultry integrators. Crude soybean oil is pumped directly to the on-site refining section.
The refining line is a 100 TPD chemical refining train: degumming (water + acid) → neutralization (caustic) → bleaching (white earth) → deodorization (physical, 250°C, 3 mbar) → winterization. Finished oil is packed in 1L, 5L and 20L containers for the retail market.
A lecithin drying and cooling unit was included as a side stream from the degumming stage. The line is fully PLC-controlled with a SCADA dashboard, with the control panel and HMI prepared for Arabic + English operator use.
